Order versus chaos.

Disorder does not take away from focus. Learn to thrive in chaos.

A lifetime of years only to have realization reset them back to year 1.

( I made that up, but it sounds smart.)

Realization.

That “aha” moment.

Here are two realizations I’ve made recently:

  • I must look for answers in the world of noise.

  • Grasp control of your mind, grasp control of your life.

I then broke down these two realizations into 4 main pillars:

Clarity —> Organization —> Minimalism —> Confidence

Let’s take a look at how this breaks down:

Clarity.

Less is more. More is less. The 80/20 principle. The Pareto Principle.

80% of our results will come from 20% of our efforts.

The remaining 20% of our results will come from the remaining 80% of our efforts.

Clarity funnels down to organization. What use is there to seek clarity if it were not to become organized? The bridge between clarity and organization will serve as a guiding force.

Organization leads us down the path of systemization.

Systemization leads us down a path to leverage.

Leverage leads us down a path of minimalism—the ability to use less for a greater return.

The development of this ability leads us to confidence.

Antifragile: Our Unsung Hero

What does it mean to be antifragile? (I know, I thought the same thing)

Growing through disorder. The constant battle between the known and the unknown.

The funny thing is what we “think” we know may not be what we “actually” know. In other words, the truth.

Who am I to know?

When stress increases, strength can either:

  • Decrease into the fragile

  • Stagnate slightly into the resistant

  • Grow into the antifragile

The commonality I see in successful individuals is the ability to play the long-term game. It seems as though finding success is inevitable nowadays. As anyone that follows the societal path to a tee can thrive in today's societal standards. One that nurtures and cares for by providing adequacy.

What we don't see is the anti-fragile. How does an individual thrive in chaos?

Our spiritual metamorphosis. Our transition out of the cocoon.

Big Problem:

Our inability to say “no”.

What would happen if we were to drop everything right now and leave?

What would happen if we were to stand up to “authority”?

From a societal perspective, that would mean the disruption of our working economy.

We have rules for a reason. But we also have areas in growth that must question authority.

What The Future Holds:

The transition from manual labor to creative work.

The ability to create has been a skill that has transcended time.

We find ourselves in a unique time. Technological advances are calling upon a new type of workforce. One that is less manual intensive and more creative based.

The internet provides us with a broad reach. Technology provides us with the ability to be more productive. Creativity is the missing piece.

Bigger Benefit:

We only grow to the levels of our identity. Becoming anti-fragile in a world with chaos results in growth.

  • We are able to adapt as a civilization.

  • We are able to advance as a civilization.

  • We are able to thrive as a civilization.
